I chose the MBA program because I had a positive experience in the Bachelor’s Degree for Professionals program at Cal Lutheran. The MBA program will give me the chance to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I’m sure these experiences will be a huge asset in my future career, no matter which company I choose to work with.
I chose the Marriage and Family Therapy program because I have always been deeply passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. I believe that by equipping myself with the knowledge and skills provided by Cal Lutheran’s MFT program, I can offer meaningful support and healing to those facing trauma and emotional challenges. I aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to make positive changes.
The intimate classes, industry knowledge from the professors, and flexible class schedules would be my top three reasons why someone should consider the MBA program. Not only has it been a great program to learn, but the people, from the professors to the students, have been at the heart of my MBA journey.
The MSIT program has advanced my career, particularly through courses like Data Communications & Networking and Project Management. It has equipped me with the skills to develop effective strategies for addressing complex IT challenges, further enhancing my expertise in the field.
My professional aspirations have been greatly aided by the Master of Science in Management program. Its emphasis on strategic management and advanced analytics has given me the critical thinking and problem-solving abilities I need to succeed in the cutthroat corporate world of today.

I have been able to build upon my foundational knowledge in business administration and sports management, deepen my understanding of financial principles, and expand my career opportunities beyond the sports industry.

With an MSIT, I can concentrate on problems in systems administration, data analysis, and creative tech solutions, which will help me grow professionally and be a valuable asset to any firm. The curriculum offers a unique combination of strategic leadership and technology, enabling students to adapt to and change the tech landscape.
If you want to be a future school counselor and learn from current working professionals in the field of school counseling, Cal Lutheran’s program is a wonderful fit. Using what I have learned in counseling, I was also able to build my professional portfolio to not only serve as a school counselor, but also serve on several national boards within the college counseling field.
This program continuously pushes me to pursue cultural proficiency. It has provided me with tools on how to be open to new perspectives and has given me insight to support diversity, equity, and inclusion work at Cal Lutheran.
While at Cal Lutheran, I was challenged in many ways to push my limits academically and reach higher heights. The history program was one of the hardest things I have ever accomplished, but I graduated in time and with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
