Why did you choose your major?
I chose marketing communication because marketing and communication is in everything. I’m able to follow my passions and go into any industry that I choose.
Would you recommend them to a future student? Why?
I recommend this major because the teachers do an amazing job in skill building and bring opportunities. They challenge you in areas and to think outside the current norm.
What are your future plans?
My future plans are to work in advertisement at the moment I’m leaning towards music/concerts.
Are there any particular experiences — in or out of the classroom — that have helped you identify that path?
I love connecting and meeting new people and I get to work with tons of groups of people in all the extracurricular activities that I participate in on campus. I’ve learned how to plan events for clubs and campus groups but I love going to concerts and everything about it. I always try to learn how to do things I have little knowledge of and working in the concert circuits would be something that would challenge me and be fun since I’m used to a chaotic lifestyle.
What motivated you to choose your minor in innovation and entrepreneurship? Would you say that your minor is a good pairing with your marketing communication major?
I’m a person who loves knowing how to do things I don’t know how to do and have a back up plan for if the first plan goes awry. I would say that this minor paired is a good fit with my marketing communication major because this minor can help prepare me because innovation works on improving an existing product that connects to marketing.
